Ruth Bakalyar, Branch Manager of the 3rd Avenue Office of First State Bank of Alexandria was recently promoted to Retail Banking Manager. Ruth has been with First State Bank of Alexandria for 2 ½ years but has over fifteen years of banking experience. She lives in the community with her husband Ken. Ruth and Ken have two daughters and three granddaughters.
Paul Martinek, Loan Office/IT of First State Bank of Alexandria, was recently promoted to Assistant Vice President. Paul has been with First State Bank of Alexandria for three years. An active member of the community Paul is a member of Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, Sportsman’s Club and sits on the Advisory Committee for Credit & Finance at Alexandria Technical College. Paul lives in the community with his wife Nicole and their son Jackson who just arrived on February 4th.
